Our Client located in San Antonio, TX. They are a part warehouse of automotive parts, and they have an immediate need for one full-time Box Truck Delivery Driver.
The position will utilize the company's 16' box truck with lift gate. The routes run 5 days a week, starting and ending in San Antonio, TX and delivers to mechanical and body shops per the route schedules listed below.
This is an immediate hire opportunity.
Compensation: $18.00 / Hourly, to start. Opportunity to increase hourly rate.

Routes are Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
General Summary:
- Performs general duties within an automotive dealership's, including the loading and delivery of auto parts. Full-time, long-term position.
- Reports to Warehouse Manager / Dispatch Managers / Parts Manager
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading of auto parts safely / avg. weight 50 lbs or less. Includes securing parts/loads so that no damage is done to product.
- Timely route planning and delivery of product to customer location on invoice.
- Document / Collect / Get signature on invoices. Collect payment / COD : Safeguard for return to to Parts Manager and/or Dispatcher.
- General clean up (trash, sweeping floors, boxes, etc.)
- Pick-up and process necessary paperwork for part returns.
- Performing any and all additional duties as directed by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Must pass company standards for MVR
- Minimum 1 year box truck driving experience or experience with related equipment
- Comfortable sitting / standing / lifting to move and load auto parts into delivery vehicle. Secure / strap / net parts for safe delivery to ensure no damage to product.
- Ability to perform light duty activities, including lifting boxes and parts on and off shelving units
- Neat and legible handwriting for return / invoice paperwork. Accuracy a must.
- Maintain vehicle in safe condition / tires / windshield etc. Report needed repairs on company vehicles.
- Maintain insurance and clean driving record, by following all state / city road regulations.
- Comfortable reading and understanding invoices.
- Strong work ethic, reliability and ability to follow safety rules on and off road.
Working Conditions:
- Pick-up / deliver parts to customers with different warehouse and loading zones.
- Loading of parts in differing weather conditions: wind, heat and rain.
- Detail oriented to safety and product protection to ensure no loss or damage.
- May require steel-toed shoes, back brace, company shirt or other uniform requirements.
