Your Impact:
As a key member of our Engineering team, you will collect, maintain and distribute documents necessary to define product configuration and control manufacturing processes that insure conformance to DG's customers
__The Essential Functions of the Document Control Specialist:
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive filing system and computer database for all documents to be retained in the document control center
• Manage the operation of the document control center to ensure that all users have the latest revision of appropriate documentation in a timely manner.
• Perform and report monthly KPIs and support the project management activities.
• Collect and register all technical documents such as drawings and blueprints in the company's system
• Maintain version control of documents; releases revisions, obsoleting, and archiving changes
• Alert team members on new document versions and how to obtain access
• Format documents and reports written by other personal for accuracy and template standardization.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive documents (EAR/CUI/ITAR security protocol)
• Establish and maintain record retention timelines __
What you will need:
• Minimum Associates Degree, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of Document Control experience
• Proficient in MS Office and experience using an SAP based ERP system preferably, INFOR.
• Familiarity with engineering documents (i.e., drawings, technical specifications, etc.)
• Familiarity with ISO certification and procedures in addition to, MIL standards
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing prioriti es
