MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  This position requires a minimum of a Master’s Degree and 18 hours in field.  Candidates must be able to teach all levels of Mathematics through Pre-Calculus.  Teaching experience is desirable.  Working knowledge of computers and computer software, especially multimedia, is also desired

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

• Teach courses in accordance with college and departmental policies and procedures, as well as Basic Course  Information sheets.
• Prepare and submit timely grade reports and other reports on student performance as may be scheduled or required.
• Organize class activities and assignments, relating them to the overall learning outcomes of the course.
• Provide input and work with other faculty and staff to review, produce and/ or select course-related materials.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Extensive knowledge of the subject area(s) in which the individual is responsible for instruction.
• Knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of effective communication and of effective instruction.
• Knowledge and understanding of the characteristics and challenges of community college students.
• Knowledge and understanding of principles of curriculum development.
• Computer literate and able to navigate in a Windows environment.

Required Skills Required Experience

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• JD Degree considered
• At least 5 years of legal experience in a corporate paralegal role, legal contracts specialist, or similar role in a corporate environment is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline required.
• Redline proposing in agreements
• Must have experience negotiating commercial transactions and delivering on the business requirement under tight timelines.
• Experience in software licensing, SaaS, and cloud services offerings and solutions projects is a plus.
• Experience with contract management platforms and processes is a plus.
