    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

     

    1. Plans, schedules, coordinates, and assigns work responsibilities, and establishes expectations for all clinic staff.
    2. Manages relationship between providers and support staff.
    3. Communicate effectively with both clinical and non-clinical staff.
    4. Ensures compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
    5. Monitors clinic workflows.
    6. Ensures each patient experience results in a satisfactory experience.
    7. Ensures adherence to clinical standards and protocols.
    8. Provides office coverage as necessary.
    9. Leads orientation and education for new clinical and clerical staff and monitors performance.
    10. Coordinates and participates in the development and implementation of staff education, specific job-training, and other approaches to provide opportunities for staff flexibility and development.
    11. Assists in maintaining sufficient and qualified staff including interviewing, hiring, coaching, and evaluating office personnel.
    12. Assists in the development and monitoring of clinic budgets.
    13. Ensure availability and efficient utilization of medical supplies and office supplies.
    14. Receives formal and informal grievances and conducts preliminary discussions for settlement as necessary.
    15. Initiates and participates in performance improvement activities.
    16. Prepares financial and statistical reports on a scheduled or requested basis.
    17. Ensures charges and supporting documentation are captured and processed accurately and efficiently.
    18. Identifies need and provides justification to support supplementary expenditures.
    19. Maintains provider schedules in coordination with the Administrative team.
    20. Coordinates practice functions related to HIPAA Privacy and Security, safety regulations, and compliance regulations in conjunction with Compliance department.

    Required Skills

    •Demonstrated ability to work tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, other associates and providers. •Ability to think clearly and to make objective decisions in implementing business and office policies and procedures.

    Required Experience

    •Employment history indicating at least two years of progressive, responsible management experience in a hospital, medical billing business office, or medical practice. •Experience hiring, supervising and motivating associates.

     

    MINIMUM EDUCATION •Licensed in nursing or other clinical field strongly preferred.
