Duties & Responsibilities:
Adhering to all food safety and workplace sanitation requirements
Ensuring every item on the line is produced to exact recipe and plating specifications
Meeting daily productivity standards as established by management
Setting up station with sufficient product and utensils
Preparing cooking and food holding equipment to ensure the station is ready for meal service
Prioritizing cooking and preparation times of each order to ensure timely delivery to guests
Willingly adjusts ingredients and menu item preparation standards to accommodate guest special preparation requests
Setting the next shift up for success by properly cleaning work stations, equipment and utensils, and maintaining an organized food storage area
Executing all responsibilities with an attitude of teamwork and cooperation
Making sure all duties and side work have been completed to standards at the end of every shift
Performing additional tasks and projects as assigned.
Competencies & Qualifications:
Critical-thinking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Respectful and clear communication. Teamwork. Ability to memorize and replicate recipes and production procedures. Physical stamina to stand working for the duration of the shift. ServSafe (Food Handlers Certification) is a plus but can be obtained after starting.
