    We are looking for an experienced salesperson to conduct initial meetings with prospective new clients to help them understand the legal services available at our law firm. An ideal candidate will show compassion for the stress and anxiety all potential clients feel when going through a family law, estate planning, probate or guardianship matter. Strong candidates are excellent, active listeners who can clearly hear what potential clients say to discern their needs and goals. Once a client chooses to hire our firm, our salesperson continues supporting our new clients by providing attentive, excellent onboarding. They ensure engagement agreements are created and share firm procedures, expectations, and systems. They email all assigned team members at the start of the case. They follow up with clients at the end of their first week, and then a month into their matter, to ensure they have everything they need and provide additional resources that will help each client be successful. Our salesperson will also remain in contact with potential clients who haven’t yet made decisions about representation so that they understand our door is open to them when they are ready to move forward. They also detailed records about their consults to provide data-driven & constructive feedback to the owner and marketing department about the effectiveness of our marketing and branding strategies…even offering possible suggestions for improvement based on their direct experiences with clients. Responsibilities: • Organize paperwork and perform data entry in our case management system to streamline new client onboarding and current client files • Take charge of various office tasks such as email correspondence, document management, data organization, and research to make sure our firm is running at peak efficiency • Screen incoming potential client phone calls to make sure the case falls within the scope of the firm, while helping the caller feel heard and understood • Help foster prospective client streams by providing input into awareness and law firm partnerships initiatives alongside the marketing team • Actively engage in dialogue with management regarding the quality and volume of the leads, offering constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement based on your “front lines” experience • Conduct in-person, zoom, and telephone sales meetings and sign new clients to the firm • Follow up, via telephone, email, sending videos, etc with previous clients or potential clients who have contacted the firm • In accordance with the ethical rules governing lawyers, the salesperson will not provide legal advice, quote a fee, or enter into an engagement with a client. The salesperson will simply prepare prospective clients for entering into an engagement with the owner or other designated attorney. • Meet with prospective clients to learn about their needs and educate them about the firm itself and provide a general description of the firm’s services in their area of need • Oversee client onboarding and ensure that the onboarding and provide clear, ongoing communication with the team • Remain in contact with potential new clients who haven’t yet made decisions about representation and orchestrate helpful, ongoing communications to support them • Always lead with active listening, empathy, and accountability Qualifications: • Strong ability to communicate eloquently and empathetically a must • High school diploma or equivalent needed, while a Bachelor’s degree is desired • Familiarity with case management and CRM systems a bonus • Skilled with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel • Previous legal experience a plus • Firm knowledge of spreadsheet and data management, as well as computer skills • Prior Sales Experience Required • Prior Customer Service Experience a plus Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 yearly + bonus
