The Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for assessing and managing cybersecurity risks. This role monitors information assets and maintains the confidentiality and integrity of systems and data.
This is a remote position.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitor computer networks and systems for potential threats and conduct security assessments.
- Investigate security incidents and provide a timely response for remediation.
- Assist in development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and controls.
- Install, alter, and update security software.
- Examines reports, data, and analytics to identify suspicious activity and threats.
- Manage a security testing program that includes regular penetration testing and phishing simulations. Interpret results, prioritize remediation efforts, and share insights with management.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in IT or a related course of study preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a Help Desk Environment. Autotask experience a plus.
- Minimum of one (1) year of Cyber Security experience.
- On prem (server) and cloud (Microsoft Azure) experience.
- G Suite experience, required.
- M365/Intune experience, required.
- A+ Certification strongly preferred.
- Understanding of computer networks, computer hardware, and windows environment.
- Active listener with the ability to communicate efficiently both verbally and in writing in a professional and reassuring manner.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to quickly analyze problems using deductive logic.
Standard schedule is M-F 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
