    Job Title: Construction Worker

    Reports To:  Construction Superintendent/Manager

    FLSA Status:  Non-Exempt

    Department:  Construction

    Division:  De Young Properties

    Location:  Field Locations

    Summary:  Works on construction projects, usually working in utility capacity, by transferring from one task to another where demands require worker with varied experience and ability to work without close supervision by performing the following duties.

    Primary Key Performance Indicators (KPI) include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

    2. Job Duties

    3. Sweep houses for Pre-Drywall walks, paint, carpet and any other time the superintendent thinks it needs to be cleaned.

    4. Clean gutters, streets, and DI's.

    5. Clean and pressure wash garages during the prep stage

    6. Unlock at 7am and lock up at 3:30pm

    7. Help the construction assistants prep houses when needed

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GENERAL EDUCATION DEGREE (GED); OR ONE TO THREE MONTHS RELATED EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING; OR EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE.

    Language Ability:

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

    Math Ability:

    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

    Computer Skills:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Development software; Design software and Project Management software.
