    As an employee of DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS), you will need to have an eye for detail, a high level of critical thinking, and the ability to multi-task, all while using your skills and expertise to uphold our company’s morals and principles, as well as adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

    The perfect applicant is a highly motivated IT GENERALIST that is proficient in many facets of information technology. This person needs to be able to fulfill many different roles within the company depending on specific technological needs that leads to more of a project leader or integrations specialist down the line. This person will perform information systems administrative procedures and maintain documentation that covers data control, applications training, data coordination and scheduling, and data security administration.

    Also, the IT GENERALIST oversees the maintenance and security of company intranets and computer systems. They will be responsible for troubleshooting, detecting, and solving technical problems, installing, or updating required hardware and software and recommending computer products or equipment to improve company productivity.

    ** MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:**

    • Diagnose computer issues and apply troubleshooting techniques to resolve them.
    • Install and configure new and used computer hardware, primarily Windows, MacOS, and iOS devices.
    • Install, configure, and maintain new and existing network and infrastructure hardware, including VOIP.
    • Perform routine hardware and software maintenance.
    • Installing antivirus or malware protection software.
    • Enter and update user and system information in Azure AD, as well as customized applications.
    • Provide support to the end-user as a help desk technician, when necessary, working closely with the Level II technicians.
    • Respond to employee concerns or draft documents to help employees use computer systems.
    • Coordinate with company leadership to determine new and innovative technologies that could enhance their company’s computer systems.
    • Provide great customer service to all customers.
    • Record, track, and document the help desk request problem-solving process in accordance with departmental procedures.
    • Provide end-user training on basic computer functionality.
    • Provide off-hour on-call support, when applicable.
    • Perform other duties, as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ** EDUCATION:**

    • ASSOCIATE'S DEGREE IN COMPUTING OR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IS PREFERRED.

    ** EXPERIENCE:**

    • MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.
    • MUST HAVE 3 YEARS OF IT SUPPORT OR HELP DESK EXPERIENCE.
    • MUST POSSESS INTERMEDIATE TROUBLESHOOTING SKILLS.
    • MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH ANTIVIRUS/SPYWARE AND SPAM REDUCTION TOOLS.
    • MUST HAVE FAMILIARITY WITH MICROSOFT AZURE ACTIVE DIRECTORY, AZURE, MICROSOFT 365, NETWORKING HARDWARE AND PROTOCOLS, AND UBIQUITY.
    • MUST BE PROFICIENT WITH WINDOWS, MAC OPERATING SYSTEMS.
    • MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH SUPPORTING iOS AND ANDROID MOBILE DEVICES.
    • MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE CLEARLY WITH TECHNICAL AND NON-TECHNICAL AUDIENCES, BOTH VERBALLY AND WRITTEN.
    • MUST BE ABLE TO PRIORITIZE TASKS AMONG MANY COMPETING REQUESTS.
    • MUST BE ABLE TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND WITHIN A TEAM SETTING.
    • MUST HAVE OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS.
    • MUST HAVE A HIGH ATTENTION TO DETAIL WITH A HIGH LEVEL OF ACCURACY.
    • MUST BE ABLE TO MULTI-TASK.
    • MUST BE HIGHLY ORGANIZED.
    • MUST BE ABLE TO CRITICALLY THINK AND BE FLEXIBLE TO A FAST-MOVING AND EVER-CHANGING BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT.
    • MUST BE ABLE TO COMPLY WITH THE COMPANY DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY. ******(PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN WILL BE PERFORMED).**
