Traveling Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Job Description
As an employee of DeAngelo Contracting Services, you will need to have an eye for detail, a great attitude, strong ethics, the ability to multi-task, and a vast mechanical aptitude, all while using your skills and expertise to uphold our company’s morals and principles, as well as adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
The perfect applicant is a highly motivated and seasoned Traveling Heavy Equipment Mechanic **** that is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance of diesel and gas vehicles and equipment, under the direction of the Shop Manager. This person will perform mechanical repairs, maintain diesel and gasoline vehicles and equipment, complete inspections, and preventative maintenance requirements by correcting vehicle deficiencies, maintaining proper records of repairs, and practicing shop safety.
** MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
Ability to travel, away from home, for at least 4 weeks at a time.
