Here's a partial outline of what may be included in some of the typical day-to-day stuff - but the other nice aspect of this opportunity is that there will be a chance for the new HRM to have input and influence into the evolvement of the job scope: Full involvement in the recruitment and hiring process - creating offer letters, coordinating all pre-employment activities (physicals, drug screening, background checks, etc.) New Hire orientation assistance and paperwork Overseeing the performance appraisal process Employee Handbook compliance & updates DBL, Comp, LOA's Partner with other team members on employee training needs Work closely with company President on site-wide employee communication Prepare annual employee survey, tabulate results and develop action plans Possible administrative overflow support as-needed (truly working as a team!) If you're an HR professional, you already know what it will take to be qualified for this job. Around 5+ years of rock-solid HRM and/or a Generalist ready for their next step.
