Led by active and engaged problem solvers, we provide hundreds of clients with the most current financial planning strategies, accounting, and consulting services in our fast paced, client-centric, boutique style firm.

We are actively interviewing to hire immediately a CPA Tax Manager to grow with us in the Jericho office. We need a detail-oriented and meticulous employee, with excellent follow-through skills. We are looking for someone that fits our criteria with 10 or more years of relevant experience in a CPA firm.

In this role, you will take the lead on tax preparation, research and planning, contacting clients on accounting matters and guiding your small business clients financially throughout the year.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Position requires the ability to prepare and review individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns, along with some working knowledge of estate, trust and gift tax returns.
• Perform and perform accounting/bookkeeping functions as needed.
• Apply working knowledge of tax law including the ability to perform tax research.
• Ensure that work papers and tax returns are prepared in accordance with firm standards.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding information utilized in tax and financial statement preparation.
• Prepare and/or review sales tax returns.
• Prepare and/or review financial statements.
• Prepare tax projections and estimates.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience.
• CPA license required.
• Experience with Accounting CS, QuickBooks, Lacerte, Ultra-Tax CS a plus.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills with both clients and team members
