    CLINICIAN Job Type: Part-Time This position is located in the Charlottesville office and will support Lynchburg as needed.When applying, include your resume and cover letter in PDF or Word format. JOB SUMMARYThe Clinician will provide individualized treatment services, which could include attachment and resiliency-based interventions, as well as crisis stabilization interventions or intensive care coordination services to children, teens, parents/caregivers, adults, and families, to help facilitate better familial relationships, improve stability of the home environments, and decrease the risk of disruptions or out of home placements. The individual in this position will provide comprehensive casework, including case management and direct clinical services per established social work principles. The Clinician will support and assist clients and families with personal, family, and social growth while helping to empower the client and family to the highest level of self-sufficiency. This position will provide services in the home and community settings. The position may also require on-call duties, as necessary. TRAINING, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE The Clinician position requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a human services field (social work, psychology, counseling, etc.), leading to eligibility for QMHP-C* registration with the Board of Counseling. Master's degree preferred. Experience working with children and families is required. Supervision for licensure/certification may be available for eligible applicants. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS The applicant must submit a current MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) of at least seven years and possess a driving record that complies with DePaul policy before hiring. This position requires the incumbent to operate an Agency vehicle and transport individuals and families as needed. The applicant shall not have been convicted of any barrier crime(s) on the criminal background report. The applicant will have no founded disposition of child abuse or neglect as documented by the Child Protective Services (CPS) background report. The employee must be able to occasionally lift a minimum of 25 pounds, physically assist physically dependent individuals, and restrain a child when appropriate with proper certifications. Must have and use personal transportation. Work hours may include afternoons, evenings, and weekends, as well as regular business hours. The applicant must be willing to be on call periodically to provide emergency casework coverage. Compensation is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
