OFFICE ASSISTANT/CUSTOMER SERVICE
THIS POSITION WILL BEGIN AS PART TIME (APPROXIMATELY 20 HOURS/WEEK) WITH THE POTENTIAL TO GROW TO A FULL TIME POSITION.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND BE HIGHLY ORGANIZED. MUCH OF THE JOB WILL BENEFIT FROM BEING PRESENT AT OUR OFFICE. THAT BEING SAID WE ARE OPEN TO A PARTIAL REMOTE WORKING SCHEDULE.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
KEEP TRACK OF CURRENT ORDERS FOR CUSTOMERS AND LOG UPDATES ON SPREADSHEET
PREPARE QUOTES FOR CUSTOMERS
ORGANIZE OFFICE AND ASSIST ASSOCIATES IN WAYS THAT OPTIMIZE PROCEDURES
COMMUNICATION WITH CLIENTS AND VENDORS
SORT AND DISTRIBUTE COMMUNICATIONS IN A TIMELY MANNER
CREATE AND UPDATE RECORDS ENSURING ACCURACY AND VALIDITY OF INFORMATION
MONITOR LEVEL OF SUPPLIES AND HANDLE SHORTAGES
KEEP SHARED FILES UPDATED AND ORGANIZED ON THE COMPUTER
KEEP OUR LIBRARY OF CATALOGS/SAMPLES ORGANIZED AND UP TO DATE
MAINTAIN TRUSTING RELATIONSHIPS WITH SUPPLIERS, CUSTOMERS AND COLLEAGUES
HANDLE INCOMING AND OUTGOING SHIPMENTS - UPS, FEDEX
REQUIREMENTS
PROFICIENCY IN MS EXCEL (REQUIRED)
PROFICIENCY IN MS POWERPOINT (PREFERRED)
EXCELLENT PHONE SKILLS
EXCELLENT ORGANIZATIONAL AND TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS
ANALYTICAL ABILITIES AND APTITUDE IN PROBLEM-SOLVING
