    WHAT YOU’LL DO

Our employees are the most important piece of the Seakeeper puzzle. As our Payroll Analyst, you’ll have the opportunity to touch every single one of them and make a positive impact! You’ll be the keeper of payroll, ensuring employee payroll and benefit records are accurately maintained and that employee’s paychecks are correct and delivered on time. Although you’ll process payroll, this isn’t a traditional payroll clerk-type position. We are looking for someone to take the next steps and support the accounting and analysis of our payroll data. You’ll also support our internal operations by:

    • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all Seakeeper employees

    • Drive the continuous improvement of payroll processes with a push towards automation including system change and enhancements

    • Maintain monthly payroll and benefits data including, but not limited to:

    • NetSuite (our accounting system) and NETime (our payroll system) adjustments

    • Newly hired and terminated employee adjustments

    • General ledger accounts reconciliation

    • Annual merit increases

    • Accrue appropriate payroll expenses monthly, ensuring all costs have been recorded in the correct period

    • Process employee status changes

    • Manage accurate PTO reporting and changes

    • Reconcile and audit benefit invoices

    • Maintain the confidentiality, accuracy and security of payroll and time/attendance data

    • Reconcile new pay and deduction codes in the general ledger and payroll system

    • Prepare metrics and analytics on payroll, efficiency and health care costs

    • Prepare tax forms including Form 5500 and Excise Tax

    • Assist with schedules for 401K audit and tax returns

    WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT HERE

It’s true that we make extraordinary products, but our favorite part about Seakeeper is our people! We believe in participative leadership. That means you have the freedom to make a difference and contribute to the larger goal, regardless of your position. Great ideas can strike at any moment, and when you have one, you’re empowered to speak up!

We are constantly pushing (or crushing) boundaries. Stagnant or bored are about as opposite from Seakeeper as you can get! We move quick and if there is something that can be improved upon, we jump on it.

    WHO WE ARE

71% of our Earth is covered by water and we want everyone to make the most of it. That’s why we are committed to creating products that transform the boating experience with an organization that employees want to work for, customers want to buy from, and vendors want to partner with. Our gyro stabilizers eliminate boat roll and create a land-like experience on the water. We defy gravity and completely change the way people spend time on the water.

We started the company 12 years ago, and now 50% of the boats built annually in our core market are Seakeeper equipped. With our recent introduction of smaller units that are ideal for boats as small as 23 feet, there is a long road of growth ahead!
