    About the Role

    As a Dealer Performance Coach, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming dealership performance. You'll engage directly with management teams and staff across the country to deliver expert training, coaching, and consulting that drives measurable improvements. This is a high-impact role for those who thrive on creating change and fostering success at every level of the dealership.

    Note: This role requires significant travel (16+ days/month). Candidates must be comfortable with a high-travel schedule.

    Key Responsibilities

    Client Training & Engagement

    • Lead dynamic, in person training sessions focused on lead management, sales/service performance, SaaS tools, and process optimization.

    • Partner with executive leadership, sales teams, BDCs, and other dealership stakeholders to ensure lasting implementation.

    • Drive engagement and accountability through follow-up coaching and results tracking.

    Performance Consulting

    • Analyze dealership processes and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

    • Offer actionable, data-driven recommendations to optimize operations.

    • Support clients in leveraging BCP+PDS platforms to reach business goals.

    Sales Enablement & Relationship Management

    • Train and coach on best practices in sales, service, and lead handling.

    • Promote BCP+PDS software and consulting solutions as key performance drivers.

    • Build strong client relationships to foster trust, retention, and growth.

    Travel & Onsite Support

    • Travel nationally to dealerships for on-site coaching, training, and relationship-building.

    • Spend at least 75% of your time on-site, actively working with clients to implement strategies and improve outcomes.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in automotive retail—preferably in BDC, sales management, or dealership operations.

    • Experience as a trainer, coach, or vendor in the automotive space is strongly preferred.

    • Strong presentation skills and the ability to train diverse audiences in a compelling and engaging way.

    • Confidence interacting with all levels of dealership personnel, from frontline staff to senior leadership.

    • Knowledge of SaaS platforms and experience guiding clients through technical tools.

    • Outstanding consultative selling, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple clients and schedules independently in a fast-paced environment.

    • Highly self-motivated, energetic, and passionate about helping clients succeed.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Total Annual Compensation: $105,000–$115,000 (based on performance and compensation plan benchmarks)
