    Franchise Auto Dealership in Highland Park, IL is seeking a Controller to join their team. With a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $150,000 annually, based on skills and experience this position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our success. As a Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial activities, ensuring compliance, and driving strategic financial decisions. You will work closely with our leadership team to analyze data, streamline processes, and optimize performance. You will manage our accounting team and ensure the accuracy of financial data. We are looking for a real leader who knows more than accounting, they must be able to teach, coach, and mentor staff members. NADA training is available to the right candidate match. THIS POSITION MAY WORK REMOTE 1 DAY PER WEEK Responsibilities: • Oversee all aspects of accounting • Ensure compliance with all accounting regulations and standards • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making • Manage the accounting team and coordinate with other departments to achieve financial goals • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy • Lead, train, and coach your accounting team • Timely and accurate submissions of factory statements • Work cooperatively with all departments to close gaps in understanding and processes to improve accounting efficiency Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred • Minimum of 5 years of experience in dealership accounting • Prior office manager or Controller experience • Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis • Excellent communication skills Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000 yearly
