Our car dealership team is rapidly expanding, and we are currently looking for a new automotive technician to join our service center. The ideal candidate will be eager to diagnose and facilitate automotive repairs using our automotive computer software, and their electrical systems expertise. Responsibilities: • Determine and investigate any malfunction codes in the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic system using skilled expertise and diagnostic tools • Follow a checklist-based approach to comprehensively examine all vehicle systems, such as the engine, transmission, air conditioning, and brake systems • Facilitate customer satisfaction and repeat business by following all manufacturer specifications for vehicle systems repairs • When needed, conduct routine maintenance such as checking fluids, rotating tires, replacing brake pads, and oil changes • Ensure a straightforward repair process by clearly communicating systems issues and repairs Qualifications: • Automotive service technology training program completion or equivalent years of experience is required; associates degree is a bonus • Excellent customer service and communications skills are necessary • High school diploma or GED is required • ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive Compensation: $20 - $35 hourly
