We’re looking for a responsible worker with a good driving record to help us manage vehicle flow for our car dealership’s service lane and showroom areas. Our car porter should have great communication skills, a professional appearance, and be customer service-oriented. You’ll be part of a larger automotive group service porter team that drives vehicles, as directed, when they are ready for pick up. Responsibilities: • Service customer needs with a positive attitude • Complete all automotive service porter tasks delegated by the automotive dealership’s service advisor including driving vehicles from service stalls, fielding customer requests, cleaning cars, keeping track of key tags, following dealership display standards, and other duties as assigned • Drive vehicles safely as directed by automotive dealership staff in the showroom or service area • Keep parking lot, service drive, and other car porter areas neat and tidy • Ensure customer vehicles are ready for return after service department repairs Qualifications: • A good driving record and valid state-issued driver’s license is required • Preferred high school graduate or GED recipient • Communication and customer service skills are essential • Candidates are required to pass a background check Compensation: $17 - $20 hourly
