JOB SUMMARY

We have an exciting opportunity for a Salesforce Developer. This role will use their technical skills and experience to deliver Salesforce-based product features while working closely and supporting the product, operations, and sales teams. The ideal candidate has a passion for developing and delivering an amazing user experience. 

This role reports to the VP of Engineering.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Work with product, sales, customer service, and claims management teams to participate in the earliest stages of product planning and requirements gathering
• Participate in the full application life cycle from technical design to development, testing, and deployment using Apex, LWCand Visualforce on the Salesforce platform
• Leverage 3rd party add-ons and integrations with external systems
• Integrate with internal and 3rd party APIs using Apex or JavaScript
• Perform Salesforce minimal configuration and customization to support process automation
• Develop administrative runbooks for different scenarios
• Validate application code against unit tests, security tests, and profiling tools
• Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects encountered during different stages of project delivery, including during the deployment and implementation of the solution in production environments
• Support processes promoting data integrity, data governance and compliance

EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of relevant hands-on Salesforce development experience

• Strong knowledge and understanding of JavaScript, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, Lightning Web Components and Web Service APIs for integration purposes

• Experience/exposure with Salesforce configuration options, data model / architecture, and security model

• Experience with Salesforce change management

• Curious, continually learning, and eager to share your knowledge with others

• Ability to provide creative solutions that solve business and technical problems

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as this role is heavily collaborative and often engages with stakeholders to support and manage

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Salesforce Developer Certification
