Are you passionate about aquatics, leadership, and making a splash in your community? Bulldog Swim Academy is looking for a dynamic Deck Manager to join our team and help create a safe, structured, and energetic swim environment for swimmers of all ages!

Position: Deck Manager

Locations: Orange, CT & New Haven, CT Schedule: Part-time | Flexible day, afternoon, evening & weekend hours Employment: Seasonal or Year-Round Opportunities Available

What You'll Do

Supervise deck operations during swim lessons, programs, and events

Lead, support, and communicate with swim instructors to ensure smooth class transitions and consistent safety protocols

Serve as a main point of contact for parents, swimmers, and staff during your shift

Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional pool deck

Assist with calling classes, organizing lessons, and maintaining program flow

Conduct daily staff briefings and help keep the team informed and on schedule

Help ensure Bulldog Swim Academy’s safety and customer-service standards are consistently followed

Step in as a leader and problem-solver when challenges arise

What We're Looking For

Strong leadership and communication skills

Aquatics experience preferred, including head lifeguard, lead swim instructor, coach, childcare, or supervisory experience

Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain

Current Lifeguard certification or willingness to obtain

Friendly, energetic, dependable, and solution-oriented attitude

Ability to work effectively with children, families, and staff

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
