Decops LLC is seeking a Grant Writer to join its team with a mandate for creating and executing the institution's annual fundraising strategies. The Grant Writer focuses heavily on grant writing and research. The Grant Writer is responsible for writing and preparing winning grant proposals designed to secure funding for a broad range of Blockchain initiatives. Preferred Qualification: • Two to five years in college, does not have to be complete yet. • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, International Economics, Strategy, Marketing, English, Journalism, communications, advertising, or other relevant fields. • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite [doc & ppt], Google Docs, and light understanding of Notion, HubSpot, Discord. Classification and Schedule This is a full-time internship enabling the Grant Writer to enrich & accelerate their business knowledge and economic perspectives, both Micro & Macro. The Grant Writer must be available to work beyond traditional office hours as business needs occasionally demand, including early mornings, and some evenings. The ability to periodically work from home will be determined and approved by your supervisor. Work Location TBD, Office most days 90%+ Responsibilities • Conduct a full range of activities required to conceptualize, write, submit, and manage grant proposals, including reports, letters of inquiry, internal briefing documents, memos, and other materials that effectively and succinctly yields results for the institution • Research prospects to strengthen the institution's revenue pipeline and support the development of cultivation strategies for both new and current funders • Research and identify possible new funding opportunities • Be flexible to put together budgets as they relate to proposal and grant procurement • Strong contributor in team environments and ability to leverage input of stakeholders in order to move work forward • Displays exceptional project management skills while balancing multiple, complex projects in a highly deadline-driven environment • Ability to conduct business with a high degree of professionalism, including confidentiality, discretion, and tact • Takes a solutions-based, collaborative approach to driving change and navigating challenges - Support other organizational and team initiatives and events
