    Established for 30 years, Dedicated Micros (DM) is an international market leader in the field of specialist CCTV control equipment. The company is renowned for the design and manufacture of robust, dedicated, multiplex hardware designed to meet the demands of continuous 24-hour security surveillance.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT/NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: MAINTAIN EXISTING ACCOUNTS/SYSTEMS OUT IN THE field by regular visits with customers to ensure equipment is working properly and to introduce new product. New Business Development includes visiting clients that have not used the product and promoting/selling the product to them.
    • SPECIFY PRODUCT/QUOTES: Ability to correctly specify product according to the customer’s needs. This also includes specifying product for bids or when a customer contacts you directly. Quotes will be completed by the Outside Sales Representative and sent to the customer. All quote documentation will need to be maintained and organized.
    • PIPELINE MANAGEMENT: The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for maintaining and updating their Pipeline through Pipedrive CRM on a regular basis. Activity including calls, emails, and meetings will need to be updated on a regular basis for visibility on projects/prospects. You will also have to report Pipeline Updates to the President and Board of Directors every month.
    • SALES VISIBILITY: The Outside Sales Representative will also be responsible for reporting activity and call reports concerning customers/projects. This includes any customer issues, order issues, and vendor relationships. You will also need to report any lost business opportunities on a weekly basis.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Strong Knowledge of CCTV and Video Storage
    • Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills (Strong Grammar Skills, a must!)
    • Strong Computer Skills including the use of Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
    • Self Motivated/Self Starter
    • Demonstrates the ability to professionally respond to and communicate with customers and individuals from varied backgrounds and educational levels
    • Ability to effectively communicate/present product information to clients and have the ability to address their questions with intelligent answers.
    • Willingness to Travel
    • High Stress Tolerance
    • CRM Experience

     EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Related Field

     EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: 5+ Years of Outside Sales Experience Preferred
