Company Overview : Dedrone is the world's most trusted smart airspace security company. Hundreds of commercial, government and military customers around the world rely on Dedrone's comprehensive, command and control (C2) solution to protect against the persistent and escalating threat from drones while enabling “good” drones to fly. By leveraging AI/ML, Dedrone is the only solution that provides continuous, autonomous interrogation and verification of drones that enables both multi-sensor and multi-mitigation options onto a single fused "pane-of-glass". Whether on-premise / air-gapped or in the cloud, Dedrone customers can easily detect, track, identify, analyze, and mitigate drone threats.

We're looking for an experienced RF engineer (m/f/x) for design and realization of RF frontends and high-speed designs. Our sensor technology uses software defined radios in combination with high-performance signal processing to analyze, classify and identify hundreds of drone communication protocols in real time. We're expanding our team with passionate experts to design and build the next evolution of our platform

    You will…

    • Develop and design RF front ends for Software-Defined Radio (SDR) applications, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to specifications.
    • Create conceptual designs and architectural plans for RF subsystems, considering factors such as frequency range, power requirements, signal integrity, and interference mitigation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, system architects, and software developers, to integrate RF components seamlessly into the overall system design.
    • Conduct RF characterization and measurements, including gain, noise figure, linearity, and impedance matching, using industry-standard test equipment.
    • Analyze measurement data to identify performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and propose design improvements.
    • Generate detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports, to ensure clear communication within the team and for customers.
    • Stay updated with the latest advancements in RF technology, emerging trends, and industry standards to enhance the competitiveness of our products.

    You have…

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a focus on RF/microwave engineering.
    • Solid understanding of RF/microwave principles, including transmission lines, impedance matching, and noise analysis.
    • Fundamentals in RF simulation tools such as ADS, CST, or similar software for component and circuit design.
    • Experience in designing RF front ends, including antennas, LNAs, filters, mixers, and analog circuits.
    • Familiarity with SDR architectures and knowledge of RF hardware/software co-design principles.
    • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and vector signal analyzers.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical challenges.
    • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present complex ideas clearly.
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

At Dedrone, we believe that great ideas come from anywhere. We support a collaborative environment and value open participation from individuals with different ideas, experiences, and perspectives. We believe having a diverse team makes Dedrone a more interesting and innovative place to work, and we strive to make Dedrone a welcoming and inclusive place for all.
