    We are looking for a team member to create innovative software applications using Dedrone's comprehensive picture of the airspace. The applications you create will solve important problems for customers all over the world. In order to do so, you will create software using Java and work alongside experts in the field to bring cutting-edge ideas into the production.

    You will…

    • Use Java to create applications to protect customers and enable good drones fly
    • Use your Java expertise to make the world a better place by developing algorthims to process geospatial data to help first responders.
    • Deploy machine-learning technology

    You have…

    • A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
    • Five years of experience solving algorithmic problems in Java
    • Understanding of how create, deploy, and monitor microservices
    • The ability to collaborate and work with an international team of developers, mathematicians, and scientists.
    • Experience with object-oriented design patterns and functional programming ideas using Java
    • Prior professional experience with geospatial data structures and datastream processing
    • Willing to learn and open to new ideas in math and science
