    Garrett Brands is seeking to hire an experienced Sales Trade Analyst to support the RTE Sales Team. RTE is Garrett Popcorn’s newest venture and only a few years into its launch, with the goal to bring Garrett Popcorn to fans across the U.S. by providing retail ready packs sold into FDMC (Food, Drug, Mass, Club).

    Reporting into the SVP of Sales, the Sales Trade Analyst will be responsible for trade program management including analyzing sales, deductions, and promotional effectiveness that provide actionable insights to increase ROI and drive business decisions. They will develop and maintain sales trade reports and dashboards to track performance against key metrics, review and clear deductions, and conduct post-promotion analysis. Additionally, the role involves supporting the optimization of sales strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize ROI, and providing insights to strengthen retailer partnerships and enhance trade efficacy. This role is eligible to be either Hybrid (3 days per week in office) or Remote (6 days per quarter in office), per internal policy.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Trade Deduction Management

    · Investigating deductions – Analyzing customer deductions to determine the reason for the chargeback, including reviewing purchase orders, invoices, delivery receipts, and promotional agreements.

    · Validating deductions – Assessing whether deductions are valid based on contractual agreements, company policies, and trade terms.

    · Clearing deductions – Applying to the correct customer, promotion, and spend to close out open AR/AP.

    · Dispute resolution – Communicating with customers to dispute invalid deductions, providing supporting documentation to justify the claim.

    · Collaboration with cross-functional teams – Working closely with sales, finance, brokers, and trade marketing to gather information, resolve disputes, and identify potential issues.

    · Reporting and analysis – Tracking deduction trends, identifying recurring issues, and generating reports to highlight areas for improvement.

    · Process improvement – Identifying opportunities to streamline the deduction management process, including developing new procedures or system enhancements.

    Trade Platform Management

    · Monitor and analyze trade spending to ensure alignment with budgets and ROI objectives.

    · Identify opportunities to optimize trade spending and improve promotional impact.

    · Assist in developing trade spend forecasts and budget.

    · Run back-end of Tradepro TPM / Forecasting system.

    · Support phase 2 of TPM system build-out.

    · Track and report on key sales initiatives and promotional activities.

    Re quirements:

    · Minimum 3-5 years of experience in trade deduction management, sales analytics, trade marketing, or related in the food CPG industry

    · Bachelor’s degree with strong quantitative focus including finance, sales, economics, statistics, or other similar disciplines

    · Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Skills

    · Experience in TPM platforms like Tradepro/Exceedra, Blacksmith, Modus, or other

    · Demonstrated analytical and financial acumen skills

    · Strong communication skills

    · Experience and understanding of analytics and modeling applications to price and promotions

    · Ability and desire to partner cross-functionally with internal and external partners to drive results

    · JDE experience preferred

    Compensation:

    The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000 to $105,000. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a few factors, including your job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience.
