Job Summary:

We are looking for a Deep Cleaning and Decontamination Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by consistently cleaning homes. You will be traveling to customers' homes and providing a variety of cleaning services.

This includes cleaning and decontaminating environments affected by viruses, bacteria, gross filth such as urine and feces, and post-hoarding cleanup. This is not a traditional cleaning position. This is an impactful role, as our clients are dealing with traumatic events in their lives and we are here to help them through it. It is imperative that you have compassion. The ideal candidate understands the importance of this position and cares deeply about the quality of their work and the impact it will have on customers.

Responsibilities:

Effectively use provided equipment -- including vacuums and cleaning solutions -- to clean customer homes

Clean all surfaces in the home, including fans, blinds, light fixtures, baseboards, fixtures, counters, showers, toilets, cabinets, and floor

Ability to clean floors on hands and knees in kitchens and bathrooms

Vacuum all stairs, carpet, hard surface floors, and furniture

Move all reasonably moveable furniture to clean under and behind

Carry all cleaning products and equipment to and from office, vehicle, and customers’ homes

Assist in keeping supplies stocked and maintaining equipment

Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contribute to the overall team effort including being dependable, and on time

Attention to detail is critical

Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites. Most jobs are in Harford County, Cecil County, Baltimore County, and Baltimore City

Ability to read and follow cleaning instructions

Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs

Ability to work in environments affected by viruses, bacteria, gross filth such as urine and feces, and post-hoarding cleanup. PPE is provided.
