    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Deep Desert Beverage, Inc. is looking for an ambitious, hardworking, results driven sales professional who wants to be part of growing our brand by making a significant impact within our organization. This sales professional will help plan and execute the retail expansion of Deep Desert Beverage, Inc. in the San Francisco Bay Area.

     

    • $40,000 - $60,000 annual salary + bonus

    • Reimbursement of approved out-of-pocket expenses

     

    Required Qualifications:

    · Minimum of three (3) years sales experience

    · Minimum of one (1) year of cannabis sales experience in California, preferably in the San Francisco Bay area

    · Existing relationships with and/or an established book of buyers and owners of cannabis retailers in the San Francisco Bay area

    · Track record of success closing cannabis accounts and generating revenue

    · Ability to keep track of sales process across multiple accounts via Salesforce, Google Sheets, Excel or other software platform

    · Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    · A strategic thinker with great follow-up skills

    · Must be a people person with an engaging, persuasive and approachable personality

    · Must have a positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment

    · Must have a passion for meeting new people and pitching products in a competitive environment

    · Willing to do whatever it takes to be successful in a highly competitive market

    · Valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation in order to make sales calls

    · No criminal record

    · Knowledge and passion for cannabis products preferred

     

    Full Job Description

    Deep Desert Beverage, Inc. is looking for a sales account manager to help expand our brand's retail presence. The sales account manager will spend the majority of their time in market making initial contact, setting meetings, pitching retail owners and buyers, signing/closing new accounts, building and maintaining new and existing account relationships, taking/placing orders, conducting Deep Desert demo days and retailer staff trainings. The sales account manager will also be responsible for conducting account research and maintaining account data, preparing weekly sales routes to best manage assigned territory and time, facilitate account sales reporting and participate in the distribution of company products. Ultimately, the sales account manager will be responsible for meeting revenue and market penetration goals.

    Key Tasks Include:

    · Generate qualified leads by means of research, networking, phone and email

    · Visit retailers to introduce the brand to buyers and owners and pitch Deep Desert Beverage, Inc. products

    · Sign/close new retail accounts

    · Assess customer needs, answer questions and assist with the ordering process

    · Meet or exceed monthly revenue goals

     

    Customer Service:

    · Develop/maintain relationships with retail store owners, buyers and staff

    · Help retailer staff obtain a deep understanding company product attributes and how they line up against other cannabis-infused beverages

    · Support retailers post-sale

     

    Accountability:

    · Reports directly to the COO

    · Log sales activities daily in sales CRM

    · Work closely with existing sales team to communicate all sales related activities including travel schedule, prospect lists etc.

    · Facilitate weekly reporting pertaining to sales activities for review with sales team

     

    Schedule:

    · Monday - Friday

    · Occasional weekends for events and/or tradeshows

     

    Work location:

    · 90% of Time: In market in San Francisco Bay Area

    · 10% of Time: Company headquarters in Nevada City, CA
