    Job Description

    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Associate Clinical Data Scientist works with the data science team to collect clinical data for machine learning algorithm development, for clinical studies related to FDA submission, and for research and scientific communications purposes. The successful applicant will work closely with clinical data scientists to conduct clinical studies, analyze data, manage IRB-related regulatory documentation, and act as a bridge between DeepHeath and external academic and clinical partners. DeepHealth is the AI division of RadNet (NASDAQ: RDNT) and was founded by AI and medical experts from Harvard and MIT to develop life-saving innovative solutions. Building on RadNet’s nationwide presence and world-class database of medical images, DeepHealth’s goal is to create and deploy the highest performing AI algorithms possible to improve the lives of patients everywhere.

     

    This role includes data science and clinical data management components, requiring the ability to work independently, solve problems creatively and communicate effectively. This position will be based in Cambridge, MA, but remote candidates that are highly qualified and excel working independently will be considered.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Collects, cleans and curates imaging data and clinical meta data.
    • Performs summary analyses of data and report results.
    • Performs data wrangling tasks for algorithm development and clinical reporting.
    • Helps maintain data integrity and security.
    • Documents and tracks patient and imaging data.
    • Schedules study tasks with clinicians and administrators.
    • Interacts with clinicians to facilitate data collection.
    • Tracks IRB documentation for clinical studies and academic partnerships.
    • Participates in meetings and projects, and complete other duties as assigned by management.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:

    · Bachelor's degree required, Masters or Ph.D. preferred.

    · Self-starter with ability to work independently.

    · History of independent accomplishments and overcoming challenges.

    · Excellent communications skills (both written and oral).

    · Excellent project organization and time management skills.

    · Coding proficiency in Python.

    · Experience working with large real-world datasets.

    · Experience working with clinicians, preferred.

    · Publications in peer-reviewed manuscripts, preferred.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching with hands and arms, using hands and fingers, handling, or feeling, speaking, listening, and high-level cognitive thinking. Must be able to use a computer and other office machinery including copiers, scanners and computer software.
