POSITION DETAILS

We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Intern to help with a variety of digital marketing copywriting and content development activities in the summer of 2020. This is a unique and exciting opportunity as we continue to expand the footprint of our groundbreaking, all-in-one cybersecurity platform.

Your primary responsibilities will focus on topic generation, writing, editing, content scheduling, and publishing of content released via our blog, website, app, and other digital channels.

These efforts will be supported by conducting market research, evaluating data and statistical information (industry and app utilization) for content generation, reviewing user stories and journeys, and presenting findings and recommendations. 

We are looking for a team player who:

• Has completed at least one year of college at the start of their internship (a rising sophomore or greater). Preferred major in business, marketing, or communications-related program, but all majors are welcome to apply.
• Has knowledge of Office 365 applications including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrates rigorous attention to detail.
• Has great written and verbal communication skills.
• Introductory knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud Applications including InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop is a plus, but is not required.
• Enjoys participating in team discussions and events, including Defendify's ongoing charity work and missions within the community

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Internships are paid and part-time, and are available for both for-credit and independent programs depending on school requirements. Our internship program is flexible and open to a variety of experience levels and academic concentrations.
