POSITION DETAILS

We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Intern to help support marketing efforts through a variety of digital and design channels. This is a unique and exciting opportunity as we continue to expand the footprint of our groundbreaking, all-in-one cybersecurity platform.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Creation and design of print and digital materials using graphic design software.
• Preparation of images to coincide with social and blog posts.
• Retouching and manipulating images and vectors.
• Collaborating with the marketing department to develop and execute design concepts.
• Assembling final presentation material for printing, events, and projects.

We are looking for a team player who:

• Has completed at least one year of college at the start of their internship (a rising sophomore or greater). Preferred major in graphic design or digital arts.
• Is proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, & Photoshop and/or other common design and layout applications, as well as Office 365 applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
• Has a basic understanding of graphic design fundamentals, including layouts, typography, line composition, and color.
• Is comfortable working with a variety of media, including print, digital, web, video, and other as assigned.
• Can adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadlines.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrates rigorous attention to detail.
• Has great written and verbal communication skills.
• Enjoys participating in team discussions and events, including Defendify's ongoing charity work and missions within the community

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Internships are paid and part-time, and are available for both for-credit and independent programs depending on school requirements. Our internship program is flexible and open to a variety of experience levels and academic concentrations.
