POSITION DETAILS

We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Intern to help with a variety of marketing and business activities. This is a unique and exciting opportunity as we continue to expand the footprint of our groundbreaking, all-in-one cybersecurity platform.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Assisting in topic generation, writing, editing, and publishing of content released to our partners and customers.
• Creation and review of reports and documents.
• Conducting market research.
• Topic generation and creation of graphic concepts.
• Data analysis and upkeep using Excel.
• Research, compilation, and development of statistics.
• Usability testing of the platform in collaboration with the development team.

We are looking for a team player who:

• Has completed at least one year of college at the start of their internship (a rising sophomore or greater). Preferred major in business, marketing, or communications-related program, but all majors are welcome to apply.
• Has knowledge of Office 365 applications including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrates rigorous attention to detail.
• Has great written and verbal communication skills.
• Introductory knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud Applications including InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop is a plus, but is not required.
• Enjoys participating in team discussions and events, including Defendify's ongoing charity work and missions within the community

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Internships are paid and part-time, and are available for both for-credit and independent programs depending on school requirements. Our internship program is flexible and open to a variety of experience levels and academic concentrations.
