Software Engineer (Mid)

This is a fully remote position!

Salary Range: $152,500 - $182,500

The Unicorn We're Looking for Will:

• Work with a team on software features and bug fixes
• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using the Go and Typescript languages.
• Full stack development (Svelte (Typescript), Golang)
• Work with a team to develop cloud native software for deploying applications in secure environments.
• Participate in architectural design discussions.
• Design and implement APIs for visualizing and interacting with Kubernetes resources.
• Build and maintain continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Deploy and test changes across Kubernetes versions and implementations.
• Understand and improve business processes by identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions.
• Integrate features across both Defense Unicorns open-source projects and other open-source projects.
• Communicate and execute in an asynchronous, all remote environments.

Qualifications for the Ideal Unicorn:

• 4+ years’ experience with full-stack development teams
• Familiarity with software development (Typescript/Javascript, Golang)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
• Strong proficiency in the Go language
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Containers
• Experience with virtualization technologies
• Sec+ certification (Nice to Have)
