We are seeking an energetic and experienced Preschool Music Teacher to join our team! You will be leading a class of students from 3 months to 7 years of age. Our vision is to teach our students music appreciation. The class will explore the different musical sounds. The class will also include movement, storytime, and puppets. You will need to be a confident speaker who can hold a tune and able to play instruments. You'll need to be able to laugh and have fun with children while engaging them in early education music.

We require that the potential hire is passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential. With strong creative and problem-solving skills, A love for connecting with individual students and creating an engaging classroom environment.

This is a part-time job This position requires open availability Monday thru Friday at least 2 to 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum

Assist children with developing social and emotional skills

Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques

Communicate with parents and other school personnel

Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones

Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree and prefer state teaching certification

Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines

Problem-solving and mediation skills

Schedule:

4-hour shift

Day shift

Experience: Music / Early Education degree AA Or Bachelor (prefer but not required)

uke, guitar, or piano: 1 year (Required)
