AM Law 100 Firm's Washington D.C. office is seeking Associates to join its life sciences practice.

          Requirements,

• Experience: We are seeking a highly motivated individual with at least 2 years of law firm experience and a Ph.D in Biotechnology or related field to join our busy life sciences patent prosecution and counseling practice. Duties include but are not limited to: patentability and freedom to operate analyses and opinions; patent prosecution and counseling, including drafting patent applications and responses to office actions; post-grant procedures at the USPTO; and litigation support. Must have superb technical, written and verbal communication skills in English. Broad scientific knowledge in biotechnology is required. Individual must possess initiative, be a fast learner, and work well with others. Applicants must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. EOE.
• The expected annual pay range for this position is $215,000 - $370,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
