            Requirements

    • Experience: seeking a senior associate with a minimum of five years of strategic M&A experience to support the office’s growth plan. This is an opportunity to work closely with and learn from some of the most widely recognized M&A practitioners in the country.
    • The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience in drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements and other transaction documents relating to acquisitions of both publicly traded and privately held companies; overseeing due diligence investigations of acquisition targets; preparing acquisition-related proxy statements, tender offer documents, information statements and other disclosure documents; and organizing closings of complex M&A transactions.

Experience in working with publicly traded technology companies is also desirable. A strong work ethic and comfort supervising, managing and otherwise working with large deal teams on complex transactions is required. Associates at this level are expected to be prepared to devote substantial time to continuing to develop their transactional M&A skills and expertise and to mentoring and training junior M&A associates. An interest in M&A thought leadership and knowledge management is also a plus, as is experience working with M&A-related financial advisors.
    • We look for candidates with outstanding writing and analytical skills, top credentials and a commitment to excellence. Admission to the California bar is required. Please submit a comprehensive resume, a cover letter telling us why you are interested in this position, a law school transcript (or the equivalent), and a description of significant M&A transactions in which you’ve been involved (and your roles and responsibilities related to those transactions).
