A premier insurance defense law firm is seeking Associate Attorneys in its downtown Philadelphia office.

Firm is looking for Defense Attorneys who are able to develop relationships with clients as they establish their legal needs, provide counsel, and help clients to understand legal options. The position offers the opportunity for independence and growth, while still providing mentoring, oversight, and a collegial, supportive environment. Team members have regular contact with clients, carrier, and the court, with the opportunity to gain great litigation experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with J.D., and admission to the PA Bar or pending admission
• Litigation experience preferred (e.g., taking and defending depositions, preparation and filing of discovery and related motions, oral argument experience, law clerk, etc.)
• Strong writing skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent work ethic
• Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills required in order to work with clients, staff members and senior attorneys
