POSITION: SENIOR LEGAL ASSISTANT LOCATION: COUNTY BUILDING, 18 N. COUNTY STREET, WAUKEGAN SALARY: $19.65 PER HOUR/FULL-TIME 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for reception; process phone calls and messages; greet persons related to cases, victims, witnesses, attorneys, law enforcement personnel and the public and provide directions and information; maintain schedules; monitor incoming correspondence; utilize case management system to obtain and enter case information; produce forms, correspondence, and notices. In order to be successful in this role you should have completed a standard high school program preferable supplemented by business or technology courses and two years of experience preferably in a legal field or related area. Individuals should have a working knowledge of practices and procedures of a law office; Microsoft programs - Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word; possess the ability to effectively problem solve and have the ability to work both individually and in a team atmosphere.
