Job Description

Network Engineer will have responsibility for maintaining and administering Del Real Foods’ computer networks and IT infrastructure. The primary duties will include maintenance of computer networks, hardware, software, and other related systems, performing disaster recovery operations, protecting data, software, and hardware from attacks, and replacing faulty network hardware components when necessary. This position requires the employee to work closely with the users of our network and manage service provider(s) to identify potential issues and fix existing problems.

DUTIES:

1. Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.

2. Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures.

3. Maintaining security compliance programs, organizational security-related workflows, policies and procedures.

4. Leading cyber security awareness training program, risk assessment, vulnerability management, incident response activities.

5. Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.

6. Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems.

7. Replacing faulty network hardware components when required.

8. Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring virus protection software and email applications.

9. Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.

10. Conferring with network users about solving existing system problems.

11. Operating master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems.

12. Coordinating computer network access and use.

13. Designing, configuring and testing networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software.
