Young and upcoming CPA firm looking for an energetic experienced or ready-to-learn Tax Preparer for this upcoming tax season. Delaware CPA Services is a fast-growing company with offices in Kent and Sussex County. Our CPA, Justin Arseneau, is looking for someone willing and able to mentor into the world of accounting with potential growth possible after the first initial tax season. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and file income tax documents using tax software
• Check documents for errors
• Meet with clients
• Perform other clerical duties as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:

• You will need to learn the current tax software (i.e. Drake) if you are not already well-versed
• High school diploma or GED certificate; bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is preferred
• Valid Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
• Certified Public Accountant license (preferred)
• Bookkeeping experience
• Familiarity with Quickbooks software and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
