The Opportunity Delaware North Sportservice is searching for an IT Intern to join our team supporting both the Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field and the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois. In this role you will support the retail and concessions operations at both locations under the direction of the IT Site Manager, while following all local, state, and company standards and under the highest level of confidentiality.Delaware North internships are paid and can be completed for academic credit. This is an inclusive position; candidates of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.Responsibilities Provide first-class technical support for all computer systems on property.Configure, install, maintain, and train concessions (NCR Quest) and retail (NetSuite) POS systems.Assists training current and new associates on proper procedures and regulations.Set up and maintain PCs, laptops, printers, and other peripherals for end-users.Terminate and run low-voltage cable (Cat5e/Cat6).Assist all other departments in ensuring positive customer satisfaction in all aspects of daily operations.Provide support for events, marketing, and manager meetings, including the setup and tear down of laptops, projectors, etc.Maintain digital signage throughout the property.Provide application support for POS systems, Global Payments, etc.Troubleshooting TCP/IP, LAN/WAN connectivity, Android OS and Windows OS issues, and other related issues.All other duties as assigned.Qualifications Proficient with Microsoft applications and operating systems, including Windows, Office, and server environments.Maintain a positive attitude with associates, staff, and guests.Capability to identify problems and research solutions.Intermediate knowledge/experience with point of sale (POS) preferred but not required.Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand and walk for long portions of the workday.Who We Are Delaware North operates concessions, premium dining and retail services at Guaranteed Rate Field, home of the Chicago White Sox and have been a partner of the White Sox since 1940.
