The candidate can expect tasks from a wide variety of responsibilities in the areas of administrative support, guest services, safety, and park operations, i.e., ticketing, tours, attractions, exhibits, and rides. Internship FactsInternship Dates: June 15 – August 15Working minimum of 16 hours per week. (Candidate needs to be available to work a minimum of two days per week, eight hours per day and flexibility to work special events and weekend days)$16 per hour for undergraduate students.$18 per hour for graduate students.Responsibilities Maintain open communication with clients, guests, media, and vendors.Manage numerous social media accounts.Create dynamic new media content to enhance guest experiences and develop business relations.Investigate and solve service complaints about various communication platforms.Prepare various operational reports; keep records pertaining to analytics of social media accounts.Assist premium managers and supervisors with the promotion of all food, beverage, and retail locations.The candidate will work closely with the Guest Operations Management team on quality/safety checks for all exhibits, rides, tours, attractions and general grounds for show readiness.The candidate will assist documenting and tracking deficiencies and capturing all appropriate management data related to attraction, exhibit, and ride attendance.Assist in analysis of data to improve our guest experience.The candidate will learn to use Galaxy ticketing system.Assist manager in projecting labor expense, maximizing the guest experience while learning about containing labor expense.Help to resolve guest concerns and problems and assist staff with delivery of service recovery. Some experience working with Excel spreadsheets and data entry is desired.Qualifications Must be a current student in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, scheduled to graduate in 2022-2024Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Prior theme park operations and/or hospitality industry experience is a plus.The candidate must have great people skills and a highly energetic personality with a desire to learn park operations and guest service.Shift Details 1st ShiftHolidaysWeekendsWho We Are The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is the visitor center at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
