The Virtual Construction Engineer is responsible for supporting the use of Virtual Construction across DAVIS projects including trade coordination, visualization studies, site logistics plans, 4d scheduling, direct layout from model, and 5d estimating.
Here’s what you get to do:
- Assist with project plan during both preconstruction and construction phases.
- Prepare virtual construction execution plans based on project requirements.
- Generate models and produce Virtual Construction deliverables to support opportunities and projects
- Collaborate with other departments such as scheduling, layout engineering, quality management and safety
- Assist with laser scanning operations and project plan during both preconstruction and construction phases
Here’s who you are: (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering or 2-3 years of experience doing virtual construction
- Minimum of 2 years experience collaborating with other departments including: scheduling, layout engineering, quality management, and safety
- Experience preparing virtual construction execution plans based on project requirements

- Experience in: Lumion, Twin Motion, 3D software, Navisworks, Revit and AutoCAD
