    We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Part-Time Deli Counter Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in preparing and serving deli items while maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked department during evening hours. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in deli operations, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Prepare and serve deli items including sliced meats, cheeses, sandwiches, wraps, and platters.
    • Operate deli slicing machines and other equipment safely and efficiently.
    • Weigh, label, package, and prepare products for customer purchase.
    • Maintain deli showcases and grab-and-go cases by stocking, rotating, and organizing products.
    • Ensure freshness and quality of all deli items and remove any products that do not meet standards.
    • Provide prompt, friendly, and attentive customer service during evening and closing hours.
    • Perform end-of-day tasks including cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing the department for the next day.
    • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment.
    • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and company policies and procedures.
    • Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient department operations.
    • Support additional store operations and perform other duties as assigned by management.

    Requirements:
    • Prior deli experience required.
    • Experience operating deli slicers and preparing deli products.
    • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
    • Ability to work evening/night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight as needed.
    • Reliable, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
