Job Summary:
As a Deli Team Member, you will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding customer experience by preparing and serving high-quality deli products. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the deli area, ensuring food safety standards are met, and assisting customers with their deli needs. Your passion for food and customer service will help create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps our customers coming back.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation, following all health regulations and store policies.
- Handle deli equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure the deli area is well stocked, organized, and clean; regularly check inventory and report on product levels.
- Assist in the preparation of deli displays and presentations to attract customers.
- Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency and quality of food offerings.
- Keep up with daily and weekly cleaning tasks, maintaining a tidy work environment.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards at all times.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a deli, grocery store, or food service environment preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and willingness to comply with all food handling regulations.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Capability to perform tasks that require bending, reaching, and walking.
