Position Summary

Scootaround Powered by WHILL is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Agent to deliver and retrieve mobility equipment throughout the Tampa, Florida area and surrounding locations.

This role supports customers traveling through cruise ports, airports, resorts, residences, convention centers, and hotels , ensuring mobility equipment is delivered safely, on time, and in excellent working condition.

Delivery Agents play a critical role in providing exceptional service to customers who rely on mobility equipment to travel and maintain independence.

Essential Functions

The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Delivering and picking up mobility equipment at cruise ports, airports, hotels, convention centers, resorts, and residences
• Operating company cargo vans or light-duty vehicles to transport equipment safely and efficiently
• Loading, unloading, and securing mobility equipment for transport
• Providing basic equipment instruction and troubleshooting for customers
• Ensuring all equipment meets Scootaround’s Safety, Functionality, and Quality standards
• Completing delivery documentation and required paperwork accurately and on time
• Cleaning and sanitizing equipment prior to delivery
• Maintaining a high level of customer service professionalism during all customer interactions
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and operations teams
• Following all company safety procedures and operational guidelines
• Assisting with warehouse tasks and other operational duties as needed

Physical & Work Requirements

This position requires the ability to perform the following essential physical tasks with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Lift, carry, push, and pull equipment up to 50 pounds
• Stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods of time
• Sit and drive for extended periods while completing delivery routes
• Load and unload mobility equipment from delivery vehicles
• Clearly see, hear, and speak to communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Work in various environmental conditions , including outdoor settings and variable weather
• Safely operate delivery vehicles in busy locations such as airports, cruise terminals, and hotels

Qualifications

• Previous delivery driver or route service experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Mechanically inclined with ability to perform basic troubleshooting
• Strong attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to successfully pass a motor vehicle record check and criminal background check
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office knowledge
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Work Schedule

This position may require a flexible schedule , including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on operational needs.

Typical shifts may vary based on delivery schedules and customer demand.

• Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour
