Job Description

At MC Line Logistics, we understand the benefit and reward of a hard day’s work. Being a package delivery driver is challenging but also gives you a sense of pride an accomplishment by providing a valuable service to our communities. Delivery drivers on our teamwork shifts typically ranging from 10 to 11 hours on average and will be continually walking, bending, lifting, loading and unloading packages weighing up to 50 lbs, working in confined spaces, and safely driving delivery vehicles in all weather conditions. While we value hard work, we will never compromise safety.

Delivery Driver Roles and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

· Drive a non-DOT regulated van delivering packages to your community

· Typically work 4 days per week including weekends, up to 10-11 hours per day, including breaks,

with shifts available seven days a week.

· Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner

· Load and offload packages from the truck

· Deliver packages weighing up to 50 lbs.

· Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.

· Use handheld devices for routing information, and customer delivery information

Delivery Driver Requirements:

· Must be at least 21 years old

· Must have a valid unrestricted driver's license

· Must be authorized to work in the United States

· Must successfully pass a background check

· Must successfully pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana)

· Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)

· Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills

· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., get in and out of the van, walk up and down stairs and on uneven surfaces throughout your shift, and perform other essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation

· Must accept text messages from Company managers and other authorized Company employees

regarding your schedule, performance, and other Company matters on Company-provided devices during working hours.

Delivery Driver Pay and Schedule:

· Hourly Pay: Starting pay $21.25 per hour up to 23.00 per hour based on experience.

· Weekly Pay: We pay every Friday via direct deposit.

· 4 Day - Weekend: Our full-time team members typically work up to 4 days a week, including at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday).

Delivery Driver Benefits:

SIGN ON BONUS ELIGIBILITY: Sign-on bonus of $250 after satisfactory completion of 90 days of employment with us. (Satisfactory completion means no attendance, performance, or conduct issues.)
