OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated manual flatbed truck driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing and transporting wood pallets, crates, and lumber efficiently, with an emphasis on providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various driving and delivery tasks. We are currently looking for a driver that can work three days a week, with that schedule being somewhat flexible. Our typical shift runs from 6:30AM to approximately 3:00PM. Our delivery routes are all local; rarely exceeding a 50-mile delivery range.

DUTIES

Operate 23' to 26', manual flatbed Freightliners and an occasional back up vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.

Carefully, but efficiently, secure pallets, crates, and lumber to flatbeds using 27' to 30' straps and ratchets.

Conduct routine inspections of the vehicles before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues to management as necessary.

Navigate assigned routes in a timely manner, while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from our customers.

REQUIREMENTS

DOT Medical Card (must provide Medical Examiner's Certificate before first day of work).

Currently, a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is NOT required based on company policies. CDL drivers are more than welcome to apply.

Experience driving assigned routes, delivery driving, and securing loads.

Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.

A commitment to safety practices while on the road and during loading/unloading activities.

Clean three years DMV print out required.
