Job Summary

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of food orders while providing professional and friendly service. This role plays an important part in representing Horn Barbecue to our guests and catering clients outside of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport food orders to customers, catering sites, and event locations

Ensure accuracy and completeness of all orders before departure

Load, unload, and handle food and equipment with care

Maintain food quality and temperature during transport

Communicate professionally with customers upon delivery

Follow delivery schedules, routes, and instructions

Assist with basic setup for catering orders when needed

Maintain cleanliness of delivery areas and vehicles

Follow all company policies, food safety standards, and traffic laws

Qualifications

Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Strong time-management and communication skills

Dependable, punctual, and customer-service oriented

Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings

Food Handler Card required (or willingness to obtain)
