Job Summary

Hartman Brothers / Allair, in Grand Junction is looking for a Delivery Driver / Cylinder Handler to join our team! As a local Delivery Driver, you play a vital role in delivering bottled gases and products to our customers with the highest standards of safety and customer service. As a Cylinder Handler, you will assist in the warehouse via fork lift moving pallets of products and cylinders as needed.

This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, energetic, enjoy a variety of tasks, and enjoy helping people. Ideally, you are driven to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction and able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities

Ensure the highest standards of Safety and Customer Service

Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and different routes

Follow route and schedule

Operate a lift gate, load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle

Ability to secure pallet loads, operate forklifts and pallet jacks in a warehouse setting

Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

Must be able to lift and move 50 to 75 pounds occasionally

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Valid CDL license is a plus

Experience in the Industrial gas business is a plus

Excellent organizational skills

Must be able to work independently

Must have excellent time management skills

Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendors
